Without wanting to restart the argument which I now think has been resolved, I appreciate the decision of CBF not to allow advertising.  When I search for things like restaurants I am always pleased to read reviews by members on here but I wouldn't take any notice of a restaurant advertising itself so it's just taking up space as far as I'm concerned.  There is some advertising on the site but it's relevant and subtle and it's up to me whether I click on it or not.  Good decision.

 ;D

I have a year's material, I just post it on a rotation system starting every 12 months. It's taken you 10 years to notice!

Why thank you ma'am - when it comes to bars and restaurants we promote events not businesses. If any establishment wants to advertise, they can in the form of paid for banner adverts which are not too expensive, given our traffic and our relevance, targeted to the a very specific area. The area where they are  :)
