Thanks everyone for your kind comments and support.

That is a great idea Quackers to send the pictures to the schools - some of the schools do actually take pictures of their own but there are some that do not have a camera when we visit.

Incidentally, we do have permission to display these pictures of the children.  As you can imagine it is very difficult for us to publish photographs of young children on websites etc, particularly those of individuals who are clearly disadvantaged.  Pride is a huge thing in Turkey and we would never want to offend anybody or to put the children at risk.

We are always trying to improve what we do and have started to give all of the schools and organisations that we help a framed certificate to say that they are supported by the 3C's and all the playground equipment etc is now starting to have the 3C's logo displayed (you can see this on the picture at Esen).

If anybody has any other idea of how we can improve, we welcome your suggestions.

What a fantastic achievement. A great effort by all those involved to help so many. It is such a shame to see the conditions that are accepted as normal for these children, a basic element such as heating a room should not need to be provided by a charity, but clearly is required as the schools just can not afford such basic things. Well done to you all.
