Izella Restaurant
« on: June 13, 2013, 16:34:21 PM »
This is another fabulous restaurant to try in Kaya, its in a lovely walled garden, great atmosphere, great food and great service, its my favourite restaurant in Kaya,a little more expensive than your more run of the mill eateries but well worth it. They do free pickups too which is a bonus. Before we moved here permanently we never visited Kaya but we love the quality of the restaurants here now and very rarely visit Hissy anymore.

Definitely gets my vote. Four of us went there on Thursday (Halloween).
Lovely set menu for 40TL per person - there were four of us and including drinks (a bottle of wine, a couple of beers and a couple of whiskys) it came to 230TL.

Don't know anywhere near me in the UK where I would have got that standard of meal & service for -what - about £18 a head?

Sounds good, we too are warming to the restaurants in Kaya. Love it out there.  Where is this place, anywhere never the Levissi or perhaps the Istanbul??
Why eat in Hissy when you can have a meal in Kaya?

I think it's the restaurant in Gunays Garden. It's beautiful there, a lovely place to stay and the food is delicious.  :)

It is certainly a top restaurant, indeed part of Gunays Garden, which is a top hotel with self catering villas. Tolga, the chef and owner, was previously at Bizzy Bees in Hisar, which itself was one of the best eateries in that illustrious resort.
Lovely setting and atmosphere with great food.

Had some excellent meals in the past, have not been there this year yet. Was closed most of last winter though.
