Stoop. I took a gander at your photo (groan!).  Yes they are clearing the reeds etc. from a number of the 'sub' canals in the area that feed into the main canals.  Not sure if that is all or whether they intend to concrete them in some time soon or into the future?

Knowing the workmen it will probably run inland!

Seriously though - it's promising that they are actually doing something this winter. I guess all the complaints have finally hit home.

Has there been any flooding in Koca this winter yet?

Well about time something happened to try and help. Great that it hasn't seen fit to flood yet but I won't feel safe unyil around April/May.

Just a thought but has anyone got any pictures of the 'new' wall around Saglik? It's gone pretty quiet since all the complaints about the YTL they wanted to build it.

Hi stoop ,your new walls were finished a long time ago
The area has had no flooding this year, not enough rain
All the canals in the area were dredged around new year time, mainly reeds, would of been better if they took some silt as well,to make deeper
Three new houses well under way to the side of saglik and mavi Kent
Cikcek sitesi walls nearly finished
Regards
Simon
