Opinions welcomed on the best places for kettle /toaster/microwave type purchases, also everyday crockery and general kitchen stuff.

Thanks

Erin Spot is your best bet for kettle etc.
There are two crockery/kitchen type shops on the same road too

Migros is also decent for plates etc. We got almost our entire glass collection there without buying a single one - all attached to 2 litre bottles of Pepsi etc :D

Compare prices with Eren Spot Migros and Kipa (Kipa and Migros in Fethiye)   When we first arrived  9 1/2 years ago.  We where taken to Eren Spot by our Estate Agent and then to the Million Shop for all our crockery etc.,  It was all put on one lorry and brought to the house.
Now, knowing the area, I would shop around a bit.

Kipa did have a good deal on microwaves a week or so ago, may still be available. I-yim halfway between Eren Spot & the footbridge have a reasonable selection of crockery, glassware & other kitchen equipment

The shop a few doors up from Eren Spot at the end of the group of shops (I think its the million shop?) has all you could want (huge selection) for crockery, cutlery, pans and glassware etc and are very reasonable.
The big supermarkets now are like Asda in the UK, they sell almost everything and generally have reasonable electrical goods.
10 years ago I brought a lot of mine from the UK. (thinking back I thought it would be easier because I didn't know my way around) I wouldn't bring it over now though I would buy there.

Million shop for cutlery.
Eren Spot for electrical.
The large Kipa and the big Migros for crockery and other kitchenware.

For special bits and pieces, try the one way system road that Pasa Kebap is on. Some lovely specialist home shops on there.

That road is also good for bedding and rugs. Though my favourite place for bedding is either Aktif Perde (also on the road I have just described) or the  TAÇ shop which is on the pedestrianised Sokak opposite Domino's pizza.

Re buying electricals at Eren Spot - they give great after sales service, but I can't say the same about Migros!

We bought a TV from Kipa earlier in the year, it went tits up within a few days, what a carry on trying to get it changed, the warranty was obviously in term but they wanted us to take it to service centre to get it checked out, refused so they got service to collect and lo and behold tv kaput, got a new one, bottom line, would I buy anything elec again from Kipa, I think not.

Aydilek  Tekstil for towels and beddin., also curtains and blinds. Pass the Migros on the Çaliş road, go over the roıundabout   and the shop is on the right hand side halfway to the cemetery. Unless raining, there are large baskets outside with end of lines in. Owner speaks good English. Crockery - the large shop on the corner in Fethiye close to Eren Spot. Lots of general kitchen items also. I am also wary of buying large electrical items from a supermarket because of service problems, but have bought kettles, irons etc with no problems.
