Large Locust - Calis near Sunday Market

This was one of two large locusts sitting near the sunday market
Captured it with lens set to macro

Ugly thing but fascinatingly perfect

Singularly, they're grasshoppers. They don't become locusts until they swarm with others.

Nothing in nature can possibly be "ugly"........repulsive to us, perhaps but never ugly.

She/he is beautiful in the eyes of his/her beholder.
