Hi, I am not famliar with Uzumlu but there are Dutch people living in Calis, one is my neigbour and I know she has Dutch friends in the area.
Also one our members here whose husband works in Hisaronu is Dutch her user name is Dutchie.
Hope you settle in well.   I am sure someone from Uzumlu will be along soon to give your more information and a welcome.

The 3 people who run the fab restaurant/ hotel 'Palazzo il Refugio ' (spell?) in the mountains above Hisaronu/Ovacik are Dutch & Belgium. Really nice people.  :D

Not sure if this helps, but perhaps the proliferation of mountains and the absence of windmills in Uzumlu, yer more traditional Dutch environment, may explain why there has been no sightings of any Dutch there.  I also checked the shoes outside the mosque this morning and there was no evidence of any dutch model clogs there, but.... I saw a mouse!

Where?
There on the stair!
Where on the stair?
Right there!
A little mouse with clogs on
Well I declare!
Going clip-clippety-clop on the stair
Oh yeah

Singing ... "How lucky I am,not Living in a windmill in old Uzumlu!"    ;) :   :) ;D ;D

Happy hunting in Uzumlu it's a nice place

My mate Syd tells me that there are Dutch folk in Uzumlu, and that one couple live at the end of his road.  He could not be more specific with details, but it shows that they must be there.  It's just a matter of routing them out.

Perhaps no one knows any Dutch/Belgian residents in Uzumlu, hence no replies from Uzumlu, other than this one  ;).  Lovely place to live though ;D.

Seems like Syd knows  :)
Might be nice for a member here who resides in Uzmulu to say "Hello and Welcome" to this new member who will be living in this "Lovely Place"
I know when someone comes to Calis, lots of members, just out of courtesy and kindness welcomes them, here on CBF.
