This sounds an interesting place, can someone give me more information, like how do we get there from calis or Fethiye, which direction is it, and is it only Euros they take over there.

Sounds lovely at night Philrose, I can imagine it, it's so pretty, it reminded me of a miniature Simi. That might be nice idea for a special romantic occasion Jacqui!   ;) 8)

The only problem is driving on that winding road to Kas, not the best road and we were amazed at people trying to overtake on bends.  We drove around a corner and a lorry was coming towards us and suddenly we were face to face with a car on our side of the road trying to overtake the lorry.  Never seen Phil hit the brakes so hard.
He said at the time, better to be following a few other cars along the road, than be in front.
However, we will bite the bullet as we now quite fancy a trip to Meis.  We also have some Euros left over from our holiday a couple of weeks ago.
One other question, can we buy tickets there for the Ferry or best to get them from Fethiye Lovers?

You can get a bus to Kas from Fethiye, or hire a car or better still if there are a few of you book a people carrier with a driver (it worked out about £10 a head return last year), we have also spent a night in Kas and did the trip the next day. We normally phone the ferry company ahead so he knows we are coming and then pay at the office. The crossing takes around 30-40 minutes and although there is a small bank and ATM on the island we have always taken euros with us. You have to be at the ferry office by 9:30 am so they can do the passport formalities, they depart at 10:00 and return at 16:00.
Oh and don't forget to take your passport.....

If you use the Tapatalk app uploading photos is much simpler

They like you to be at the ticket office with passports by 9.30am.
We find it nicer to stay overnight in Kas and book tickets etc the night before.
The trip is lovely, very scenic but very little to do.
A few hours is more than enough time for a nice lunch, stroll and get some bacon & duty free.
