Seemed a genuine good guy who was pulled apart by the media. He didn't succeed as England manager. Like everyone else who tried.

I loved the piece on Sky about him last night.  They showed an old interview with him where he said his father was a reporter for the local newspaper and he went to the S****horpe matches with him and his job was to take a stopwatch and time the goals. He said he was so proud when he read in the newspaper his Father's report and then it said goal at 21.45 minutes as he knew that was his reference.   That was a lovely memory.
Seems I am not allowed to print the name of the team because it has a rude word contained in it ???????
