Hi Guys

Me and Mr Bassman have finally moved lock stock and barrel!! Just realising just how little we know and how much we need to learn Turkish quick smart!!  Any advice from those who have already experienced this feeling of lost would be greatly appreciated.  Especially how to get the internet at home as I am sat in internet cafe at the moment!!!

Thanks and hope to meet up soon

Lesley and Steve

Well done on making the move.  Here's a link to the British/Turkish Society in Fethiye - they look like they could help you in getting settled etc (see their information page)

Hi and welcome to your new home....It is different living here to just a holiday but it is amazing how quickly you feel you have been here for ever.
The difficult bit with the internet is actually getting your phone line installed....Turk Telecom can be a bit hit and miss with regard to speed. however once that is done you can usually get ADSL installed in a couple of days. Alternatively there are lots of computer shops who will set up a dial up connection for you.
