No change here in Uzumlu...same old same old...
Our current Baskan was re-elected by a majority of 90 votes.

Excellent news, he's been doing such a great job. You have to admire the workmanship and engineering expertise in the re-paving of the village square. When the new entrance arch is built I'll have to find a new route avoiding the dual carriageway.

You also have to admire the way he has managed to stop the new paved roads going anywhere near any expat houses [:(!]
Didn't tell them that they will probably have to be dug up again when the mains sewerage goes in at some time in the future...he he
His suppourt during our Cement Factory fight was, without doubt how we managed to win  ;):(
Come on...it's just what this village needs a Welcome arch over the road  ;)
As I said...same old same old, but this time round he knoes how to work the system even better  ;)
