Years and years ago we took over a samsung mobile phone to use only in Turkey, we went into the Turkcell shop and filled in a form and it was registered and we had a Turkish sim card which we have had ever since and we just top it up as necessary and its fine.
The Samsung mobile is getting a bit old now and is certainly out of date so I would like to bring over a spare mobile we have in the UK to use and leave in Turkey instead of the old samsung, can anyone tell me do I have to get this registered also?, and if so do I go to the Turkcell shop as I did previously?.
Thanks

it will need to be registered.
if your SIM is Turkcell, then yes register at a Turkcell shop.
It would also be worth asking if a new SIM would give you better rates.
Tariffs in the UK get better overtime, so probably the same in Turkey.
