Title: Turkish Generosity
Post by: CleopatrasAsp on January 02, 2018, 01:15:55 AM
I posted this earlier on both my own FB wall and the Animal Aid page......
I am feeling totally overwhelmed this evening. Earlier today I went out to see to the 20+ community cats I feed on a daily basis to find propped up against my doorway a 15kg gold-foil bag of cat-food, decorated with a red festive bow!!!
People often comment on here about their personal experiences of Turkish generosity.  It rarely extends to the street animals.  Too often we hear the nasty stuff so it's nice to be able to thank an anonymous Turkish donor for a very kind act.

Very generous, but how do you know the donor was Turkish?

I wondered that myself, an ex pat may very well have decorated it as well.

I am assuming so as all my immediate neighbours are Turkish, apart from which the gift was left on New Years Day which I believe is when Turks exchange gifts
