Villa complete in 4 weeks- Help with queries!

Hi everyone,
With our villa in Uzumlu 4 weeks away from completion -would appreciate any detailed info on what to do to get the following sorted:

Pool Maintenance.
Electric bills.
Local rates.
Water bills.
Have I missed anything?

Also have heard that Orange are well recommended -does anyone have a web /email address I could have?

Hi Speed, Have used Orange for our villa in Uzumlu since October 06 and found them to be reliable and quick to react to any problems, I know they would like more Villa's in the village to look after. Not sure where you are in the village but one of the locals looks after alot of pools and gardens. Are you going out soon?

Bit of a team effort getting the villa set up.

My Wife, My brother and his wife are coming out on Good Friday for two weeks with me joining them for the final week due to work commitments.

We are one of a group of three villas due to be completed before the end of March -to get to us take the the road immediately at the side of the petrol station- follow the road for about 1 mile - you cant miss us!

I will follow Orange up as I have heard good things about their service but would also be interested in details if anyone has any for someone within the village?

Can I also ask how did you find the best way to handle the regular bills coming in?

Hi Speed, Orange can organise bill payments. I am coning out for a long weekend from Fri 20th April.

20th is the day we all fly back! (hopefully with everything done and a bit of a tan if we get any spare time)- maybe we'll bump into each other next trip in the wine bar- we are all coming out again in august for a proper holiday. thanks for the info on orange.

As my dad has posted earlier today, we are also in Uzumlu and both Ma and Pa will be out for the month of April - You should drop him an email and he will maybe catch up with you in the Village and tell you about our cleaning and letting company. English couple that live just up the road from the Village, but very reliable.  If you need more information then either email me or Dad.

Thanks- I emailed Orange -I dont know if this is a fairly standard rate but they quoted me 250 YTL per month for Pool maintenence (30m2) -sounded a little on the high side to me.

I guess if it is a daily visit to Uzumlu that means you are looking at around 900km+ per month even before looking after the pool.

I have to agree, there is an opportunity for an Uzumlu resident here...
