Hi Carlan & Eric, we too have just purchased our villa in Uzumlu and are really excited about our permenant move, hopefully in Jan 2008. At the moment we do not know anyone but hope to meet new friends when we move. Looking forward to meeting you and others next year.
Eric, any advice on buying a cheap second hand car from somewhere? We know they are expensive and any advice would be helpfull.
Sue & Mike

Hi Sue & Mike,  Try Orange car rental as I believe they are selling off some of their cars to make way for bigger vehicles.
Look forward to meeting you next year.

Oops, I goofed. My post should've been to Hamilton.  We've already met! But not the house I was thinking, though down the road.  Sorry.  Swampy.

If you are looking for a second hand car there is a Car market every Sunday which is on the Dalaman road on the left about 500m2 just before you get to the round about near to the big autogar. The have anything from a tofash to MPV you can just go there and look see what you like then check out the price, but make sure if you buy to get it checked out first.
