Robbers in Uzumlu

apparently they are on the look out for three men in a yellow car ,like you we dont often see then down our way ,their presence i hope is enough to deter any wannbe robbers Calvin

Yes, it's good to know they are being vigilant.  Maybe they should find a way of letting us know what they are looking for so we can tell them if we spot anything (like 3 men in a yellow car).

Spent a bit of time at the Jandarma in the last couple of weeks reporting a couple of acts of vandalism on our pool pump room, nothing too serious but a bit worrying if it should escalate. The officer I dealt with was very helpful and has been round to check all was well. We've noticed a lot of patrols around our area since we made the report. It's good to know that the Jandarma are making their presence felt.

Thanks Philip, no real problem just a bit of extra work for our pool guy, both occasions when no-one in once in the evening and again during the daytime 2 days later. Will drop you an email later with some detail, suffice to say that it shouldn't be a worry for you. I have heard that there was another break in last week, on the plain in Uzumlu and this time the robbers were successful, is this true?
