too late !    have visited several times,it was a close run thing between buying in Uzumlu or Kozithingy...... just fell in love with our house, which made the decision for us.  But we do visit your neck of the woods whenever we can.....[^][:X][^][:X]

Getting back to the origional question which Mr Tippet asked, I would have been very interested to hear the answer. I have a house in Uzumlu and unfortunatly only come for holidays. I was therefor not at the meeting but would like to know how the discussion on the possible outcomes of the courtcase etc might be.

Hi, I have just come across this forum while researching the proposed Cement factory in Uzumlu.
We bought some land in Incerkoy in October 2006 with the dream of building upon it, so were devastated to hear about the proposed cement factory late last year, especially as the land is in close proximity to the proposed factory.
As we still live in England and don't have any contacts in the Uzumlu area we would be very grateful if anyone could provide us with up-to-date information. We can see from the forum that some action is being taken and would like to be able to help.
