I heard someone had had their donkey stolen (?) from a nearby village. This was a pet. Does anyone know if he got it back. He must be very worried, I know I would be.

I hope by now there is good news..

You will be pleased to know that the donkey has been found. It belongs to our friends, Kevin & Maggie, who live round at Bucak, which is under the Kisibel turning on the Denizle road out of Uzumlu. It was stolen/relieved of its grazing position, last Sunday and after much searching found on Thursday in Incirkoy, where they had to pay a finders fee of 20YTL.

Oh Smashing. I hope there's some way they can insure it doesn't go missing again. It must be very unsettling to think your neighbours might have been involved.
