Been to Turkey many times and stayed in Hotel Meri, Olu deniz.
This is something new to us, there is a party of 10 in 2 seperate
villas.

We all like peace and quiet, but also like the occasional night out.

We know about the (wine bar) is their any other bars besides that one.

It's quiet, as Uzumlu is, but Mustafa's (cadianda cafe, driving in from Fethiye, right hand side by the Pharmacy) is really good for food.  Lovely bloke, lovely wife, good food)  Just on the outskirts.

It isn't actually a bar though.  But he does serve wine and beer.

Try the Camlik which is about 50m before Mustafas on the same side. It sits back off the road by about 25m on the tree line. Very good food and good company. Every other Friday there is a quiz night there and its all in aid of the local school children.

It isn't a bar but he serves wine and beer? The guy wants an occasional night out - grab a taxi into Calis or Fethiye! Don't pay him and agree a return price back to Uzumlu.

Oh, pay him when you get back  ;)

(if you get back....!!)
Uzumlu is very sleepy  - best to make your own entertainment !  If you want a bar you will need to do as Scunner says and pop down to Fethiye/Calis.

My advice.....stock up on duty frees and set up your own bar  ;):D
