the cheapest beer is from the butchers, the best wine is from the lace maker. you can get a 3ytl shave for 10ytl, and get a taxi down the hill but Uzumlu has no taxis.

Correct so far, don't forget you can get "something for the weekend" at the garden centre.

Sadly, on reflection that is actually true nowadays.

we have been 5 times before, olu deniz 3 times and ovacick 2 times but stayed in hotels all inclusive. this is totally diferent for us thats why i am trying to get as much info as possible, about prices etc. the only thing i need to know now is about money exchange.

well if you are a regular to Turkey you will know a Nationwide acct is by far the best as you get the best rates and no commission. Failing that you can change money in the village PTT. There is no fast cash machine in the village

I would also add that Uzumlu is VERY different to those 2 places.
