What a great Lunar eclipse on Sat night. It started at 9pm approx and carried on till gone 2am.
Have asked Keith to attach some photos I took at 1.30am.

Brilliant pikkies Fi.  Thanks for those.  We were at a wedding and I tried to take a photo but had used up all my memory space on the bride and groom..... :(

Amazzzzzzziiiinnnngggg photos, must have been a huge lens!  I can't even see the moon that close through our telescope.[8)]

They were taken by putting the lense of my camera against the viewfinder of the telescope. I was amazed how well they turned out.

I haven't got a telescope.

I have binoculars though, ROFL!
