This Friday evening (28 November) at 7.30 we're holding a presentation on Sea Turtles at the Çmlik Restaurant in Üzümlü, which will be the first of an approximately fortnightly series.  Future topics will include Birds of the Region and Local Flowers and Fruits.  All welcome.

Birds of the region is expected to be the second talk.  I'll let you know when I have more details.  The talks will be done by Jane Tuna, who writes for the Turkish Daily News, and Ali ihsan, who is known as Baba Caretta, 'Father of the Turtles', and is a leading naturalist in the region.  You may have seen him around wearing his characteristic cowboy hat.
