Dirty Tap Water
« on: November 25, 2008, 12:36:54 PM »
Yesterday the tap water was a bit dirty.  It led me to wonder (again) where our water, her in Uzumlu, comes from.  I was told it was from the mountain.  If so, where is it processed and is there any mad way the heavy rain caused the water to be dirty???

If I was you Rindi I would report it to the Belidiere and see what they say. As you know we were told that the water came from a spring so maybe the heavy rain affected it but ours was and still is fine.
Let us know what they say.

You dont mention whether you are on belediye water or well water as this would make a big difference.

If you are on Belediye water the colour could have been caused by some work being done on the pipes.Sometimes mud gets into the breakages and enters the system. They have been repairing the pipes in some areas.

Ah, OK.  I am on Belediye water and friends who don't live near me also have had dirty water, quite a lot more dirty in one case.  I didn't realise they were working on some pipe breakages.  Thanks WW
