New bar in the Village
« on: March 09, 2009, 08:31:32 AM »
The Grapes Garden bar owned by Mehmet and Laura has just opened in the Village. It is a nice cosy bar with a seating area and garden at the back. The official opening will take place in April. If you travel up the hill from the main road towards the Mosque and turn right by the Barbers/Cat Lak bar it is down that street about 15 meters on the left hand side. They haven't got a sign up yet but it has got new wooden shutters and a new door.

Sounds nice, good luck to them. Hope we get some reports about it when it fully opens.

Mehmet is from the village and married to Laura, they have a son who is 1 year old. They haven't had a bar before but Mehmet worked at the Fez Bar in Hisaronu for the season the year before last, they are a very nice couple. They hope to get the kitchen sorted before the start of the season and will do mainly snack food.
