Car Boot Sale this Sunday 18 October

The next Calis Carnival Car Boot sale takes place this Sunday 18 October. Due to the popularity of the event stallholders are asked to arrive by 8.00 am as advance bookings cannot be taken.

The event, which now takes place on the penultimate Sunday of every month, is held in the car park at the rear of Mado ice Cream parlour. Stalls cost 10 lira each and sellers can hire tables at 2 lira.  

All money raised from stall fees and the Carnival committee stall goes towards Calis Carnival and the carnival charity helping disadvantaged children in the local area.

The Carnival committee are always pleased to receive donations of unwanted gifts, household items and clothing for their stall and can collect if necessary,  Please ring 0535 8554919 or 0536 3739520 for information/donations or e-mail me through this forum.  Thanks .

We are getting lots of phone calls so anyone who is going to have a stall please make sure that you are there by 8.00 am to set up.  We again have the use of the side road between the Lighthouse Restaurant/Bahar Hotel and the car park so sellers without cars will be located here to maximise the space. Unfortunately we do not have use of the prom yet as it is still holiday season.

Please don't forget to pick up your 2010 Calis Carnival Calendar from the Carnival Committee stall located to the left of the main gate - only 5 TL and makes a great pressy/souvenier as there are some lovely photos of Calis and the surrounding area as well as the Carnival itself  .
