Suggestions for Carnival Flag
« on: November 13, 2009, 17:20:51 PM »
We are looking for good ideas for a simple flag that we can use to represent Calis Carnival.  The design must be simple and easy to produce and must be representative of Calis. The final design chosen will be used to decorate the 2010 Carnival and on various Carnival publicity.

If you have any suggestions please can you let me know.

Thanks
Chrissie

a wavy blue stripe at the bottom and orange at the top, perhaps with a palm tree in siloette - representing the famous sunset!

How about a white flag with a squashed mosquito in the middle.

That's really, really clever Highlander - my only thought is that the Turkish people may see it as defacing their flag - as you know you have to be so careful out here.

Thanks to others for their suggestions, keep them coming in and they will all be considered.

A circle of dancing children to represent the good the commitee  have done and will continue to do.
