H, we are advised by our "friend in the anorak" that 3 colours is the optimum for flag design ;)

Hi Chrissie
I've sent my suggestion for a flag to the Calis Carnival email address as I could not get it on here as I had difficulty with Photobucket

I like Gorgeous bird idea

It meets the criteria

1. represents Calis with the colours blue for sea and orange for sunset

2. the palm tree could be just left of centre (nearer the stick thing) and the top bit of the palm tree leaning over slightly towards the centre so when the flag blows in the wind it looks like the leaves are moving

3. and has no more than 3 colours

Maybe the main colours blue & orange could have a washed through effect to creat the impression of fluidity...

And I like her idea because it has a summery light hearteded holiday feel to it...

Why not stick to the Carnival logo?  it is recognisable from the website simple and clear.

maybe a 2 sided flag Calis Carnival flip to Calis Karnaval?
