We have now set up a Paypal Account for any donations, when making a donation make sure you tick the donation box, this will allow free transactions.

Thank You.

That is a brilliant idea, I will donate some money a litle nearer to Christmas instead of sending cards, I did the same last year and put the money into the collection box at Cafe Inn, I was wondering where to put the money this year as I am not sure which bars collect for the rescue centre now, so having paypal solves the problem.

Lena,

Here is how to donate without the charity having to pay Paypal fees. This means 100% of your donation goes to help, if you send as a 'normal' paypal transaction around 7% is taken by paypal.

PLEASE also note these graphics are from the "computers for schools" fundraiser we did last year. If you send money to that email address I will get it and I promise I will not pass it on, it will be used to buy mince pies, chocolate and booze for my personal use :D The email addresss to put in there is as detailed above,
animalaidfethiye@hotmail.com

Just to keep every penny free of charges, you can do it thus:

Then

Ultimately, don't worry about it if you get confused, the donation is welcome even if charged a handling fee, better than no donation at all  :)

If you don't use paypal (i.e. have an account) it is worth pointing out that you don't need one to make a donation. Credit and debit cards can be used by visiting https://www.paypal-marketing.co.uk/sendmoney/send_to_a_friend.htm

Then choosing the options as detailed above (the graphics may be different but you are looking for GIFT as transaction type).

thanks Scunner for your reply, I have tried to do it your way i.e as a gift in personal section but still getting charged, as you say any donation is better than none but I would rather my whole donation went to the dogs,am doing it from my Paypal account does anyone think it would be better to do it the other way Scunner suggested[?]
