Does anyone know when the Neuter and Return scheme started in Fethiye?

Did the Belediye cull up to the law change in 2006?

What sort of funding does the Belediye provide to the animal shelter?

Does anyone consider there to be serious problem with dangerous street dogs in the Fethiye/Calis area, i.e. attacks on persons etc?

Happy to receive reply by email if question three is sensitive!

Not by street dogs, only by dogs owned by dickheads.

1. The Nueter and return programme was started nine years ago by founder member Perihan, this was self funded.

2. Don't know.

3.The Belediye fund the wages of six people working at the shelter plus a limited amount for medication.

4. Personally no, but moves are afoot at this moment in time to remove private dogs from roaming the street, this is where the main problem is now coming from.
