Next Car Boot Sale - Sunday 20 December

The next Calis car boot sale will take place on Sunday 20 December  in the car park at the rear of Mado ice Cream parlour on Calis Seafront. Although we do not expect it to be as busy as last months record sale, sellers are still advised to arrive early (by 7.30) to make certain of their pitch as we are unable to take advance bookings.

Stalls cost 10 TL and tables can be hired at 2 TL each. Charity stalls will be allowed one stall free.  Entrance to buyers is free although donations towards the carnival charity, helping disadvantaged children in the Calis/Fethiye area, are always gratefully accepted.

Also if anyone is having a pre-Christmas clearout and has unwanted items but does not want the bother of having a stall, the Carnival Committee are very happy to accept donated items for their charity stall and will collect if required. Hi All
just a reminder about the car boot sale this Sunday. We have some great prizes on offer for the Carnival Raffles-a hamper of fresh produce very kindly donated by Brian of the Village garden (& he will be there too as usual so you can stock up on your winter veg) and also a ticket for two for New Years Eve at the new restaurant in Fethiye-The Buffalo-including tapas meal & live entertainment (Elvis will be performing!!). For a chance of winning one of these prizes tickets are only 2 TL each or 6 tickets for 10TL.
The Buffalo is a new venture from Paul Lebbink of the Flying Dutchman, Olu Deniz & 31st December is his official opening night (although he is open for Christmas).it is located behind the childrens' park on the harbour front (not far down from the Kismet Bar).
in addition we have 2 Meis Express visa trip vouchers to be won (includes all transport to/from Meis & cost of visa)in a separate raffle which will be drawn at the Burns Night Supper in January. These vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of receipt. Tickets for this raffle are 5TL each.
