English and More

The Animal Aid team have just enjoyed a very pleasant morning at the English and More Language School in Calis.

We went there to sit with the students and staff to explain everything we do regarding funding and looking after the animals,
showed them some photos, dvds of the centre and generally dicussed with them the different activities.

We were made very welcome with tea,coffee and home made cakes:P
we were also presented with some money raised from their raffle which will buy a large bag of dog food 8)we were also shown around the school which was a very professional set up and we wish them well for the future.

They now want to organise a trip to the centre and some more fundraising activities for us



all in all a very nice morning, it was great to meet them and looking forward to some fundraising with them.

It was a super morning and the students loved it. They made all the cakes and biscuits and were so genuinely interested in meeting everyone and learning about the Animal Aid charity.
The two cats (kumur and sutlach) belong to the school (and are terribly spoilt and pampered) and we also have a puppy called Honey.

It was a lovely morning.
