new day !! animal interaction

Hi Pamsandra, I was up there yesterday and asked the same question about where a lot of the dogs had gone, Emre the vet told me most had been rehomed or put back on the street in Ciflik area where they came from originally, but several new dogs arrived yesterday so it must have been changeover day:D
There is also a batch of brand new puppies born this week ;)

We are going to continue, for the time being, going on a wednesday, so will look forward to seeing the new 'collection'.  Does it mean that the young puppies would have been let free also, that seems very unfair ( well irresponsible comes to mind really) as they wouldn't have known anywhere else other than the shelter so would not be 'street aware'.  The thought of what could happen to them is not very pleasant...

Anyone who wants to go up the shelter can go any day of the week we have been up there again today 8)

We only say Thursdays so most can have a meet up on the same day.

Do people get the chance to spend time with the cats also or is it just for the dogs?
I finally have my transport back and am hoping to start coming up, but I feel sorry for the cats as they are never mentioned on here!

Another lovely day at the centre today with many new faces and really good regular crowd going up there now 8)
The press were there interviewing us and taking photos and video for the Kanal F tv station and was shown tonight at 7 oclock, it will also appear in the national and local press tomorrow.

There are a lot of very positive things happening behind the scenes at the moment and we also appear to have re-homed several dogs today, so fingers crossed on that one.

Thanks to everyone for your continued support ;)
