We went twice last week ,1st time great, village salad and bottle of water and bread included in price of meal ,second time no salad and no water ! asked why? were told that people have complained it waa too much?

if Ali had told us on arrival perhaps we would have had a starter !!!!

Every new shop every new resturant all have promotions or lost leaders, the same as Kipa....promotions dont stay on forever.

This entire topic puzzles me. When this Ali character first turned up on CBF it was quite apparent that he was about as welcome with Uzumluites as Billy Connolly's proverbial "fart in a spacesuit". Now he has opened his restaurant all is forgiven. I have never met the guy and have no wish to either. It just goes to confirm my long held opinion that memories in expat Turkey are extremely short.
