Yesterday whilst waiting for the Dolmus at Dolphinless roundabout a van approached and a baby of no more than 18 months was standing on the drivers knees with both hands on the wheel.    The driver had the tip of one finger on the bottom of the steering wheel, the van was travelling at about 50mph and neither of them were strapped in.

Beggars belief but I saw it with my own eyes!

It is obligatory for tractors to drive at night without lights. Lorries may do the same if they wish.
