Uzumlu -places to see

Hi all, im going to Ovacik in May 2011 (One week), but want to explore Uzumlu - any places or sites welcomed.. P.S Im back in Ovacik  in Jul 2011 for (Hopefully) three weeks (So I can explore further in Uzumlu).. thanks & best wishes .. Bim

Cadianda is a must ! you can walk or ride up sign posted from Uzumlu square .Calvin

definitely,  an early morning walk up to Cadiyanda and then back for a lovely lunch at the Winehouse.   take time to look around the little shops selling local dastar, you may be offered a taste of the local wine ([xx(]) !.   Lovely to just amble around the old streets taking in the atmosphere.  Friday mornings is market morning and a good place to get some lovely fruit to refresh you on your walk.  Enjoy.....its lovely [^]

If you walk up to Cadianda can take slight detour to where Turkish flag is above village and get some very good views of the valley and village. From Cadianda can get views of Fethiye and the sea.
There is also a firetower high up in the hills which I believe you can get to but maybe need 4 wheel drive - have been told that on a clear day you can see as far as Rhodes.

Uzumlu is a very beautiful place, it's peaceful and very unspoilt. Well worth a visit.
