Uzumlu food and craft fair 25th March

Uzumlu food & crafts fairs will be taking place on the last Friday of every month organize by the Turkish ladies of the village and the Winehouse,
 
1st one is Starting this Friday the 25th   February at 11am till 4 pm
You will be able to see lots of traditional Turkish cooking and craft made in the village by the Turkish   ladies, come along and view the handmade crafts and the homemade food dishes,
on sale will be a variety of Turkish breads, desserts, cakes, pastry's, jars of local jams, marmalades, oils vinegars etc.., this local produce will be on sale,

 Prices starting from 1lira, 2 lira for cakes pastry's etc :

Why not pop in after you done your market shopping :and enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee supplied by the Winehouse.

Can you clarify that this is just for the Turkish ladies to exhibit and sell their food and crafts or can others who live in Uzumlu exhibit their crafts?

The Uzumlu ladies group I believe have been invited to have a stall / table - where at the next meeting on Wednesday it will discussed in terms of who is baking what and all proceeds will be going to charity - I'm not sure about individuals - Sener may know more info. D x

Hi everyone,

Maybe you know that we will go on to our own Car Boot Fair on May again instead of Calis...they are getting the season break May-October so we will make it here at the same days (3rd Sundays of the months) in Belediye garden...

Hope everyone can have chance to display their lovely hand crafts and the charity supports...

Ladies Uzumlu Group were invited to join the Turkish ladies as stalls by invite only and all proceeds from this stall will go to charity.
