Horses in Uzumlu

There are 2 ponies and a Donkey being looked after in a field along the Cadianda Road, jusr after the Cemetery in Uzumlu.

One pony is 12 hands (4 feet), grey with brown freckles, dark grey mane & tail with pink headcollar.

The other pony is 13 hands (4 feet 4 inches), chestnut coloured.

The donkey is Dark Brown and 14:2 hands (4 feet 6 inches.)

If by any chance they manage to get out of the field and you see them.  We would appreciate it if you could call us so that we can put them back where they belong.

Hi Janice, if you can remember back to last Sept (2010) Lulu the Mule was a rescue case (have a look on the forum Animal Aid section). She has put lots of weight on since then. She is very very well cared for by her own Sandy in Nif. Lulu is here with us for a holiday for a few months. Little Star is only a pony & is in very good condition. The Foal is only 15months old and again is in good condition. He is growing fast. The 2 ponies have come to us due to their owner having a fire at the yard. They have lost the stables, all tack for the horses, all the hay and hard feed (Wheat,Oats,Barley, Besi etc). We own 2 16.3hh horses of our own and have had over 25yrs experiance of horse care, breeding foals etc. Please feel free to come and see our boys. Christine.

Hi Christine, i didnt mean to offend, i had a pony for 25 years and she was so highly strung that she always looked tucked up and thin.

Christine     Their field is only just down the road from us, would you have any objections if I popped down occasionally to say hi to them when we are over in August?  I'm adore horses and would love to take them a sugar lump or two for some snuggles.  i didn't just want to stop by without asking in case you had a report of a strange woman spotted blowing up ponies noses !!!!
