It happens quite a lot Liz, even when they show you if trying to order online in the shops - you think its cheap until the joker gets his calculator out and starts demanding a whole lot more in TL.
I tried ordering a large stockpot once from a firm in fethiye and as they didnt have that size in stock said they would order it and then showed me a price which i thought was TL - it wasnt it was $ers and then they also demanded full payment up front too! - i walked!!
