Great results Don! What's your secret?  :D

Lotty sorry missed your post yesterday.

No secret really.  :) Sensible eating, no smoking and very little alcohol, plenty of exercise. Wetry and walk at least an hour every day.

Went back to the Latoon today to get the results of the additional test I wanted done. Blood pressure up slightly but no big deal.  :)

All in all a couple of good days with money well spent.

If I can be a little controversial there is a growing body of research that suggests that mammograms aren't that accurate and results can lead to unnecessary surgery and treatment. The usefulness of a mammogram  depends on your age and can be damaging in itself.

Also the CA125 ovarian cancer marker isn't necessarily a indicator of ovarian cancer. There are many other reasons why levels can be high.

There is a lot of information out there and I would recommend that people do their own research.

Hi Don,     from reading your favourable comments on here about the `well man` clinic  at the Letoon .. I   have booked to go on the 27th of February  at 9am... 155 lira

Don my question is.. I should have asked...is, do I  need to take anything  with me ?  urine samples  or whatever ? or does it all happen there ?

Just take your body and they do the rest. Take details of any medication that you are on.

We started at 11 am and finished about 2pm with a break for lunch.

The extra I had was a BP monitor on for 24 hours as I was a bit concerned about high blood pressure. I got the monitor put on at 2pm and went back next afternoon to get the results .

The total cost wa TL417 I considered it a very good price..
