Slant on a classic?
« on: May 22, 2012, 21:32:01 PM »
Lunch at Sahil 1 near Migros they had a dish of brocolli with yogurt on top, just great. last saturday market one stall was selling just large florets of broccoli and small cauliflowers. Mindful of the Sahil dish bought one of each. Having already seen a promotion of manti in Migros a dish was in the making. Broccoli and cauli cooked to your liking in knorr chicken stock, half cube with just a little water to steam and impart the stock flavour.Manti thawed and cooked exactly nine minuets in plenty of salted water. Set in warmed serving dish cauli Broccoli and manti sprinkle with melted butter and chilli flakes again to liking and top with yogurt mixed with fresh garlic if liked. Ready to eat. Manti was meat filled. Simple and delicious. Any others to share???.....[?] ;)
