Thought I would let people know that Guzde has had the first of her operations needed to help her walk properly. They decided it was too much for her to have both feet operated on in one session so hopefully with a speedy recovery she can have the next one sometime next month.The operation was completely successful but there was an added bonus which has filled them all with delight. Guzde is 16 years old and has never spoken a word despite having speech therapy. However when she was recovering from the anaesthetic she actually spoke so they now realise she does have the ability locked away. With concentrated efforts....once she has recovered from surgery... they are convinced that with therapy she will be able to walk properly and also speak a few words. The family and friends are overjoyed.Such a worthwhile cause so thank you to everyone who has helped us to help her.
