Buzz Bar
« on: October 11, 2012, 11:25:11 AM »
Hi, Have just arrived home after a fantastic 3 weeks holiday and spent our last night in our favourite resteraunt the Buzz bar. So how shocked was I to hear from a fellow in flight  passenger that this is its last season and a beachfront hotel is to be built in its place. Has anyone else heard this rumour. Please put my mind at rest and tell me it isnt true......

If its true, yet another move in the wrong direction    :-)   probably some russian  rich guy chasing the quick buck... Olu Deniz moving fast towards a swish sassy   expensive `south of france ` type of resort... oh for the memories of 12 plus years ago when Olu was  `cheap and chilled`  .

My memories go back 10 years before that.
I just loved the place. It was so peaceful.
I still think it's a lovely location though

**** **** **** **** and **** again.

It is the best place in Olu Deniz by miles.  Every time we go there I can't get over just how good it is and how much better they do it than anyone else.  It gives a real tingle  just how "right" it is.

OK nobody has died ...but it feels like I just got the worst news about a very good friend  :(

We tried Shaka in Fethiya which is OK ... but just another restaurant.

If it happens then I can assure you that it is the Buzz Bar family that is doing the build and the Buzz Bar will still exist but in a new form  8)

That would be "Bob" the builder then Frio? Will look forward to see what the family will do, just think it will be a Quality build and Location.   :)   :)

We stop at the hotel behind Buzz and there is a piece of land between it and the Buzz Bar - we were told that the new hotel was being built on the scrap land between them.  No mention was made of Buzz Bar itself being altered.

The land behind Buzz can't be build on because of the old ruins that they have been found.
