Raki is taxed at the same rate as as any other spirit in Turkey.

I often find Raki cheaper than other spirts, especially in bars/restaurants etc.  Well maybe not cheaper per se but you do get mammoth servings.  Obviously depends on where you are, brands etc.

Yeni raki available in the UK - 35cl bottle of @ £12, and 70cl @ £20.50. How much in Fethiye area?

Raki is dearer in most bars than spirits ,asked about this the other day in bar on the prom ,raki 9tl local spirits 7tl cost of bottle raki 20tl  more ,they keep upping the price .
