Help needed

Help I need to get a kite surf board to Turkey that I intend to keep at my apartment and to make life easier would like to post rather than pay for sports equipment at the airport,is there someone that would accept the parcel on my behalf. If there should be any taxes due I can reimburse when I get out in August

Hi Graham.
I would have thought that the sports equipment deal with the flight would be cheaper and more reliable than trying to post or courier your board.
If indeed it ever did arrive in Turkey I would dread to think of the possible problems trying to recover it from customs,I speak from experience!

I personally would take it on the plane with me rather than post it.

If you fly TA to Istanbul then onwards it will be free

Thanks for the replies I am traveling with TA and have now read that sports equipment is free so no probs there then was ripped of good time by easy jet in April.
