Following the successful operations for Guzde and Mehmet we are now in the process of assisting another little boy who needs an operation . He is a local child of three years of age who is unable to walk due to birth defects. He has been to Izmeer to see a specialist and they believe with an operation and therapy he will be able to walk unaided. Guzde's operations (two... as she had to have both feet done at separate times) were both a complete success and the difference in her poor deformed feet is amazing .They now look completely normal and she is able to walk without constantly falling over. Mehmet is still having physio. as his operation involved so much more so his recovery period will be much longer but I will be going to see him in a few weeks time .He has a nice little surprise coming from us which he is unaware of at the moment . I can't wait to see his face as I know he will be so excited and happy. I will keep the forum informed about the latest youngster whose name is Orhan and also let you know about Mehmets surprise after he has received it.
