The Twelve Days of Christmas
« on: October 26, 2014, 14:25:15 PM »
For new members:

Every now and again I try and raise a few pennies for the Calis Childrens Charity (the 3C’S) so that they can continue their outstanding work in helping local children who have very little.

This one is ambitious (not over ambitious I hope) in that I do need lots and lots of people to take part. But we do have lots of new members and fingers crossed that they will help those who regularly do. Remember it's for poor kids.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Behind the squares in the grid there is (1) partridge in a pear tree , (2) turtle doves, (3) French hens, (4) calling birds, (5) golden rings, (6) geese, (7) swans, (8) maids, (9) ladies, (10) Lords, (11) pipers and (12) drummers.  Members will be asked to choose a square or two. Hopefully enough will to fill the grid.

I will reveal what is behind each square over the 12 days.

If you have been good enough to take a square, you will be asked to donate £ 1.00 for each of the corresponding numbers in the song. For example, if a calling bird is behind C5 you would be asked to donate £ 4.00.

PLEASE REMEMBER taking part in these things is NOT a condition of CBF membership and that there is no requirement whatsoever to participate.
