This is the section for Calis, these places you mention are in Fethiye, however, lots of places with good views in Fethiye.  Try The Cafe Park Teras, fabulous views, also all the places along the Kordon, great views there.  I think the Duck Pond is just a big tourist magnet that will charge more.
For a place without a view but a lovely garden setting, try the Mozaik Bahce.  Although I love a G.&.T. you cannot beat theirhome made lemonade or their iced coffee..  Big bonus the staff are the best.  :)

Yes, Phil loves that and we cannot think of any other place that does home made Ginger Beer.  I remember as a child me and my pals used to get "ginger beer plants" and put them in a jar of water and made our own Ginger Beer.

I've never used the place at the Duck pond, I don't like their aggressive efforts to get customers and their attitude when you decline.

Don't like it either, mainly because of the cruetly to the ducks, also think they are aggressive in trying to rope you in and once saw a pigeon flying out of the kitchen and was told by a local that it is quite a regular thing for pigeons to fly in and out of their kitchens.   Why go there, when you can go the the Mozaik Bahce, no comparison IMHO.

Nothing new there - it's a really clever idea in getting the food orders in and out of the kitchen quickly and cuts down on belligerent waiting staff.

Well obviously I am letting new members know about the Mozaik Bahce, as they may not have heard of it.  We all know but this particular member is new and may not know.
I am not comparing, there is no comparison as I already said.  I am merely stating for the benefit of a new member that there is a much better option a short walk away.  :)
