What a wonderful afternoon

We had such a lovely afternoon at the cake sale .Very many thanks to all those kind people who donated wonderful cakes and to all the people who queued up to buy them .Such a lovely atmosphere as most people also stopped for a drink and chat  in the restaurant. We made a fantastic total of 700 lira plus another 50 lira donation so we are naturally so happy .We have already been asked if we will do another one and possibly include some savoury things too so it I  being discussed and we will let you know. It was a very enjoyable afternoon sitting in the sun having afternoon tea at the Bambu, I still can't get use to taking your own cakes.

Mavis and her team did an excellent job.
