Raising more funds for house
« on: January 28, 2016, 13:11:06 PM »
We are having another Cake Stall at the Bambu Restaurant on 9th February so please support us in any way you can by definitely coming along to buy and also if anyone can bake something either sweet or savoury it would be most welcome. Last time we raised a fantastic 750 lira so we are keeping our fingers crossed for this one as we need to buy the kitchen units next. We have been donated all the containers for take away so the sales should run much more smoothly than last time. We will also shortly be raffling the almost new television that was kindly donated and will only sell 100 tickets for this at 5 lira a ticket . More news on this to follow plus the time of the Cake Sale .

This would seem like as good an opportunity as any for UK, and Calis members who cannot make it along on the 9th, to make a donation to help hubblebubbles and Embrace with this magnificent project.

If anyone wants to make a donation to my paypal account (or I can provide another methods) I'd be happy to collect the money and pass it on.

Forgive me bluntness but I'm working on the premise that if I don't ask the family may not get.

Perhaps it might be a good idea to put the very sad story of this family on here again, we have several new members who might like to help

Many thanks for your help once again Highlander and also many thanks to Gillian Handbury who came into the shop today with a  very nice cash donation . Very much appreciated and it was lovely to meet you both and we are so pleased you are following the progress of the house and the boys.
