I have been putting a lot of old photos of Fethiye and Calis on Fethiye ex.pats... I have had hundreds of "likes"   Ali from the boat sent me this I though it would be of interest. Calis Beach of old.

Anne you asked how old the photo was, all I know is the wooden shacks were demolished in 1978.

For anyone who is interested if you go onto Google and type in Hotel Letoon Calis it will bring you up different headings go onto the one that says Hotel Letoon Calis Hotel anasayfa (it doesn't matter about translating it) that will then take you onto a page about the Hotel Letoon at the bottom on the right hand side you will see Bir Zamanlar Hotel Letoon it is a YouTube all about how the Letoon was built by the family of Bora & Yamac who were the previous owners but it shows you some old and interesting footage.
